Greenie meanie

The last thing I want is to get into a global warming debate here, if for the sole reason I know precious little hard science on the subject.
But I do know hypocrisy when I smell it, and so does Sun-Sentinel columnist Tom Jicha.
Here's his take on NBC's green-a-palooza. Thought provoking stuff, and he doesn't even come off as a global warming denier, as some call those who critique the Almighty Al Gore.

Actually, he *does* come off as one, using some subjectivity in his prose, but I second his points, nonetheless: a ratings stunt is a ratings stunt, and any viewer who thinks otherwise deserves $5/gal petrol....

He certainly doesn't sound as one-sided as Rush Limbaugh on the matter, but he does fall more on the skeptical side. He does share my unease about the hypocrisy behind the green movement. When Madonna wags her finger at us and says, 'conserve!' it's hard not to gag.
