Ho ho hum

Santa Claus has a brother?? Wouldn't we have known this by now, given all the Christmas yarns spun around ol' St. Nick?

Common sense never stops a high-concept comedy, which helps explain "Fred Claus," about the sibling rivalry between Santa and his ne'er do well brother.
My Washington Times review predicts "Fred" won't join "Rudolph," "Frosty" and "Elf" as beloved yuletide figures, but the starry cast could draw a crowd this weekend. (Photo: Vaughn whoops it up in "Fred Claus.")

dang, I wanted to see this one, oh well, "Cloverfield" comes out in Jauary, and then Iron Man in May ... I guess that'll work.

Oh Jesus, it is you.

How did I live in DC for 21 years and not make the connection until I moved out of the country?

Congrats on the career. Very cool indeed.
