Oh, Magoo -- you've done it again

Love Christmas, love every Christmas special pre 1975 -- and I especially dig "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol." Movie Mom ranks it no. 3 on her list of Top 5 "Christmas Carol" variations. I'd rank it higher, chiefly because I've seen "Carol" variations so often I'm tired of the format. This 1962 classic features great songs and memorable snippets -- "razzle-berry dwessing," says Tiny Tim.
I'm curious how today's children view shows like this. Kids don't know Mr. Magoo from Mr. Ed, and the special's gentle pacing may lose them before those songs kick in.
