AFI nails it

Just when I was bemoaning a lack of support for raunchy fare like "Knocked Up," AFI comes to the rescue.

The American Film Institute named its 10 best features this weekend, and the list has more range than Ozzie Smith.
Here are AFI's top films - "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead," "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly," "Into the Wild," " Juno," "Knocked Up," Michael Clayton," "No Country for Old Men," "Ratatouille," "The Savages" and "There Will Be Blood."
Indie darlings? Check. Animated wonders? Check. Critical darlings? Yup. And no clunkers in the bunch. Take a bow, AFI. (Photo: Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney have father issues in "The Savages.")

No clunkers? Have you seen "The Savages"?

Really dug "The Savages." I'm a sucker for dysfunctional family flicks with actors who aren't movie-star glamorous. What didn't work for you about it? Will be curious to hear ...
