Some studios don't want critics to so much as sniff their films before opening day. Then you have the folks behind "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story." Doesn't mean the finished product is golden, but it sure is a good sign. I recall when Judd Apatow's "Knocked Up" was gearing for release, the studio screened it until the film wore out to spread word-of-mouth reviews. It worked. Let's hope the comedy here is just as inspired.
