Globe breakdown
Not much left to say about this morning's Golden Globe nominations. The usual suspects got pegged, and very few surprises could be found.
One item of note. No matter how many rave reviews, even by the stuffiest of critics, films like "Knocked Up" and "Superbad" get, they'll never bask in Oscar's glow.
The film industry and its disciples may be reflexibly liberal in most regards, but they remain puritanical when it comes to naughty humor.
Regarding my earlier post about "Once's" snub, Fox News' Roger Friedman offers a cogent reason why the indie charmer got lost in the shuffle. Methinks he's dead on. (Photo: Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen soak in the good news in "Knocked Up")
