'Girl' talk

I missed "The Other Boleyn Girl" over the weekend. Didn't miss much, to judge by the one-two punch of lousy reviews and tepid box office. My friend Matt, whose knowledge of movies is second only to imdb.com, offered up this pithy critique:

Made it to "The Other Boleyn Girl" over the weekend. Too much hotness to resist. Not good. (Natalie) Portman is the wrong choice to play catty and conniving, and (Eric) Bana looked like he was trying to pass a kidney stone during the entire movie.

If only I can get Matt to guest blog now and then ...
